The Welcome Day of the Academic Year 2023/2024 of the Post Graduate School of Paediatrics - Masters and Advanced Courses - took place on 4 April 2024, at the Valerio Nobili Auditorium of the Bambino Gesù Children's Hospital in Rome.

The day began with a welcome from the General Director of the Hospital, Engineer Antonio Perno, who underlined the importance of post-graduate training, sealed by the Agreement between OPBG and the University of Rome Tor Vergata; followed by the speech of Prof. Paolo Rossi, Director of the School of Pediatrics and Academy of Pediatrics of the Hospital, who welcomed the participants, then introducing the Coordinators, who presented the active courses one by one.

Subsequently, the Medical Director of the Hospital, Dr. Massimiliano Raponi, spoke and emphasized the importance of multidisciplinary training, which favors a network for better management of the pediatric patient, both in hospital and locally. The Director then opened the series of lessons, carrying out the "Clinical Governance" module, common to all courses.

The School has inaugurated 12 courses (1 first level Masters, 8 second level Masters and 3 University Advanced Courses), counting a number of over 200 students, coming from all the regions of Italy.

The day ended with the training on the use of the School's distance learning platform, dedicated to the educational activities and interaction between teachers and students.
