Pediatric Sciences
The Chair of Pediatrics is led by the Pediatrician Professor Paolo Rossi and it is characterized by a strong Clinical and Experimental focus, corroborated by the National and International Research Projects and by the prestigious scientific works in the field of pediatric science.
The Chair hosts the Integrated Course of Pediatric Sciences, and includes the teachings of General and Specialized Pediatrics, Child Neuropsychiatry and Pediatric Surgery, as part of the Master's degree in Medicine and Surgery in Italian and English languages.
The educational path foresees blended didactic activities, articulated in face-to-face and e-learning classes, an internship that gives the students the opportunity to attend the clinical and day hospital units, the specialized departments, in order to acquire theoretichal knowledge and practical competencies.
The students who will discuss the Master’s thesis in Medicine and choosing Pediatrics are actively involved into Research Projects: they can attend the Laboratories of the Chair, being part of the publication of peer reviewed dscientific papers.
