The Master's degree in "Neonatal and pediatric deglutology" aims to provide adequate theoretical and practical education, aimed at the acquisition of knowledge and skills for the care of newborns and children with eating and swallowing disorders (dysphagia). The overall objective is to enable participants to learn the best practices for the interdisciplinary care of children (clinical-rehabilitative) with eating and swallowing disorders. The goal is to train participants on the different pathologies (and different clinical symptoms, etc.) that determine eating and swallowing disorders, making them aware of the medical, surgical, rehabilitative, clinical and instrumental methodologies, providing the skills, for each professional role, for the care and interdisciplinary treatment of these disorders. To foster knowledge about eating and swallowing disorders in pediatric age by spreading an effective, efficient and sustainable management model at a socio-economic level. To build new knowledge through the participation in quantitative or qualitative thesis and research projects, dedicated to pediatric eating and swallowing disorders.
